This is a description of the methods and properties of the PCRE Automation Server. This Automation server has an interface which is largely a subset of that presented by the Seagate Crystal Reports 7.0 Automation Server. But in this case, the Automation server interfaces to the MAS Parallel Crystal Report engine via CORBA. This allows more flexible and scalable report generation. Parallel Crystal's Automation Server does not support the Seagate Smart Viewers. The following methods must be removed or replaced in order to migrate from Seagate Crystal Reports to Parallel Crystal: PageEngine, PageGenerator, Pages, Page, PageSetup, PrintWindowOptions, TrackCursorInfo, View, Window, FieldValue and Views.
