Dynalivery selected TAO as its Object Request Broker (ORB) based on its outstanding reputation for performance and reliability in the real-time/military applications market. We regarded the performance and reliability bar to be higher in this market than in nearly any commercial application.

In TAO's primary market, the software works or people die.

With TAO being royalty-free, Dynalivery is able to hold down the costs it has to pass off to our customers. With TAO being open-source, Dynalivery itself is able to make changes to the ORB to support customers in the event of an emergency or some unforeseen circumstance.

With TAO being developed and supported in St. Louis, the same city that Dynalivery is headquartered, Dynalivery has ready access to a labor market of people who know TAO.
